CBF ESG STRUCTURE
ENVIRONMENTAL
We continue to align our operations and presence to offer our customers the best possible service, while also taking care of and measuring environmental impacts to outline improvement strategies. During 2023, we established basic performance measurements. We are taking advantage of the current report to score our policies and actions and monitor their impacts. We are beginning to define internal mitigation goals and actions that have provided benefits for both operations and the environment, such as organizing reuse and recycling processes in the warehouse.
SOCIAL
Talent acquisition, inclusion, employee engagement and retention remain priorities for CBF. We know that building a diverse and inclusive team, where everyone feels valued and heard, is fundamental to our success. Employee training is an essential part of the scope of work, enabling the development of technical, leadership and management skills.

Concern is growing about global environmental problems caused by human activity.
The consumption of resources, the advancement of global warming and climate change, air and water pollution due to chemical contamination, and the decline in biodiversity are very serious issues of our time. All humanity shares the challenge of building sustainable societies that can thrive without harming the environment. Today, people expect companies to be proactive in addressing this challenge, for example, by providing environmentally friendly products and services and reducing the environmental impact of their chains and operations.
ROLAMENTOS CBF LTDA bases its Policies on the Ten Principles of the Global Compact. “The Global Compact advocates Ten Universal Principles, derived from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Declaration of the International Labor Organization on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.” We use the current report to highlight our policies and actions and monitor their impacts. We are beginning to define internal mitigation goals and actions that provide benefits for both operations and the environment, such as organizing reuse and recycling processes in the warehouse.
Labor: Businesses should support freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining. The elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor. The effective abolition of child labor. Eliminate discrimination in employment.
Environment: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges. Develop initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility. Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Anti-corruption: Businesses should combat corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
Likewise, ROLAMENTOS CBF LTDA expects the same attitude from its suppliers and expresses this concern through a CSR Policy document for Suppliers, as well as monitoring the current situation of suppliers through a CSR Assessment Form for Suppliers.
This Sustainability Report compiles our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policies, actions, metrics and results. We are proud to be able to share CBF's commitment to contributing to a more sustainable value chain. In accordance with best practices, the topics presented here include certain metrics from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) that we intend to expand in the coming years.
